You are either thinking about biking across America, or
have made the bold decision to go for it. You are thrilled!
However, you have so much uncertainty about your trip. What is the "right way" one is supposed
to go on a long, multi-week bike trip?
The video below answers the most frequently asked question I receive,
which is, "I am biking across America. Do you have any advice?"
Definitely enjoy the bad outtakes if you make it to the end. :o)
Synopsis: Cycling experience is a "must" for someone considering biking across America.
It doesn't hurt to ask for advice,
but if it is in lieu of actual biking experience, you're in trouble! Definitely ride frequently
to learn the ropes of the sport. Going on a shorter
multi-day bike trip first, such as biking across your state, might be a really good idea.
The more you ride, the more you will be able to
identify what you'll need before your cross-country trip.
It is also important to know how to fix flat tires and handle some of the basic
mechanical issues that might arise with your bike.
